Clipsal is an Australian company that has been around since 1891, and they manufacture high-quality electrical accessories for both residential and commercial use. Their products are made with precision engineering and are guaranteed for life – if there’s ever a problem with your switch or socket, you can rest assured that it’ll be replaced free of charge.

I chose the SC-1225K Silent Switch as my main control panel component, simply because I wanted something reliable that would last me through many years of use without breaking down. The SC-1225K is made from durable metal components, has a long lifespan and can withstand heavy use. It also comes with a 10-year warranty – if there are any problems with your switch within the first 10 years of purchase, you’ll get a replacement without having to pay anything extra.

The SC-1225K Silent Switch fits into a standard Australian electrical box (125mm x 50mm), so it’s easy to install and doesn’t require any special tools or skills. It’s also approved for use in commercial environments, so if you’re looking for a switch that will be used in hotels, hospitals or other public places, this is the one for you.

For switches and powerpoints, I went with the Clipsal Iconic Range, which is a stylish and functional range of products that are also very affordable. The Iconic Range consists of switches, powerpoints and other accessories made from high-quality materials – they’re durable enough to last you many years without breaking down. The Clipsal Iconic range includes a wide range of products, so no matter your taste and needs, you’re bound to find something that will fit your home perfectly.

For my living room, I chose the UP-2030C Iconic Switch and the UP-2020C Iconic Powerpoint. The UP-2030C is a 3 Position Rocker Switch with an elegant design that’s sure to add style to any room in your house. It comes with a 10 year warranty, so you can rest assured it’ll last for years to come. The UP-2020C is a 2 Pole 20 Amp Powerpoint with a sleek, modern design that’s sure to fit in any room. It comes with an unswitched socket and is easy to install – all you need is a screwdriver and some wires!

Speaking of tools, Clipsal offers tools as well. You’ll find a wide range of tools on their website, including pliers and wire cutters, as well as some specialty products like crimpers and testers. These are all designed for professional use, so if you’re looking to install electrical accessories at home or in your business, I highly recommend checking them out!

However, working with electricity isn’t something everyone should do. In fact, it’s extremely dangerous and should only be done by a professional. There are some minor tasks you can do yourself, but in order to do them, you should take a few safety precautions, such as:

  1. Always use a grounded outlet. All circuits have ground wires, which help protect against electrical shock. If a circuit isn’t working properly and you’re using an extension cord or power strip, move your devices to another outlet that is grounded.
  2. Turn off the power first. Before doing any wiring, make sure there’s no power running through the area you’ll be working on – this includes both household and outdoor outlets.
  3. Use the right tools for the job. Don’t try to use a power tool if it’s unnecessary – this is not only dangerous, but also very time-consuming. If you need to cut through something, use a pair of wire cutters or pliers instead.
  4. Follow the instructions on how to install your components. If you’re installing any electrical accessories yourself, make sure you read through the instructions carefully before doing so – most companies have detailed installation guides available for download and printing out at their websites.
  5. Have an extra pair of hands around in case something goes wrong. If you’re unsure about how to install your components, it’s best to ask someone else for help – this way, if anything unexpected happens during the installation, they’ll be able to assist you and prevent any potential accidents.
  6. Do a test run before plugging everything back in. Once you’ve finished installing your new electrical accessories, make sure they work properly by testing them out with an extension cord or power strip that isn’t connected to the main power.
