The Ideal Crane For Any Task

A mobile crane is an extremely versatile and flexible lifting machine that can be used for a variety of applications. Mobile cranes are utilized for carrying out complicated construction and loading tasks. The mobile crane is specifically designed machine that offers versatility and mobility on the job site. Today, there are various mobile crane models on the market, and every model comes with different specifications and configurations. The biggest advantage of the mobile cranes over the fixed models is that they can easily move by using their own power. Because of this feature, the mobile cranes can be seen in the construction, forestry and agriculture industry.

The mobile cranes vary in terms of size, shape, design and load limits, depending on the manufacturer. Most mobile crane models come with crane attachments which are mounted on flatbed lorries, either between the cabin or at the rear end of the unit. The hydraulic system of every mobile crane is controlled via control box in the cabin, or by a remote control which allows the operators to control the machine from a specific distance.

A typical mobile crane is capable to safely handle loads of several tons. However, most mobile cranes allow the operators to upgrade them with a variety of attachments, and to increase their capacities for a variety of applications. For example, the attachment pallet is used for lifting crates, containers and boxes that weight up to 1.5 tonnes. In the construction industry, the brick-stack grapple is an attachment that safely grabs and loads stones, various construction equipment, building components and other similar heavy construction objects. When loading debris or sand, the mobile crane operators can attach a robust clamshell bucket on their mobile crane to pick up loads up to 200 kg.

For specific loads and heights, there are special mobile crane models. Usually, they are larger, more powerful, have greater lifting capacity and are mounted on lorries with more axis for greater stability. Most mobile crane models feature a telescopic arm which is used for handling extremely heavy loads that weight up to hundreds of tons. The telescopic arm can be extend from 40 to 60 meters, and is usually used in the construction of tall buildings, installation of overhead wires, excavation, drilling rigs and other similar jobs. However, there are smaller telescopic arms up to 20 meters which are very efficient for loads of five tons maximum.
