Motorcycle Adventures and Rock ‘n’ Roll Are Some of Life’s Ideals

Ah, adventures and speed, motorcycles and rock ‘n’ roll. I really can’t talk about one without referring to the other, simply because a motorcycle changes you same way rock ‘n’ roll does. It’s said you can’t exactly explain a certain feeling once you try to put it in words and that’s what happens when I try to explain the way I feel whenever when I am in the company of my motorcycle or listening to some good old rock music but I’ll give it my best, because who knows, maybe I’d get to inspire more people to get out of their comfort zone and find the roads to be the comfort zone they never thought of.

I am sure you’ve probably heard words like freedom and flying used to describe the rides, and I fully agree. Riding a motorcycle and listening to rock music are life philosophies on their own, they provide sublime life changing adventures that teach you how to enjoy every present moment, how to live in the now – you are immersed and nothing else exists at that given time but the road, scenery and melody. My love for a biker’s way of life began early on when I was little and used to give my undivided attention to the TV screen whenever there was a film about motorcycles. Motorcycle Rider

The Wild One”, “Easy Rider”, and “Rebel Without a Cause” were just some of the iconic films that turned Marlon Brando, Peter Fonda and James Dean into my idols and of course no such film ever goes unaccompanied by rock ‘n’ roll. As we grow our idols begin to change, and though those three musketeers stay on the list, I added Rush’s drummer Neil Peart as well, the man who serves as my inspiration to undertake more road adventures. Since whenever you’re on the road it’s just you and the motorcycle, it’s needless to say it’s a kind of bond. If you want it to take care of you and enjoy safe rides, you also have to take care of it, and this means doing frequent checkups, getting all the needed parts and accessories as well as all the motorcycle cleaning supplies.

Sometimes you might enter some terrains that aren’t exactly what you’d expect, all depending on the destination you choose, so be prepared for some repairs and lots of use of motorcycle cleaning supplies. A little cleaning and maintenance goes a long way, because they’re crucial for safety. Taking the helmet for example, all the dust and bugs that stain it can pile up if not taken care of on time which can be detrimental for your view while driving, same as it is with the car windshield. That’s why I stack up on helmet cleaners, and my advice is to invest in fuel system cleaners too – the engine is counting on it. Cleaning is not that much of a chore when you get to enjoy afterwards, and moreover it truly helps teach you of dealing with responsibilities and developing habits. My motorcycle and my setlist of rock ‘n’ roll songs have certainly taught me a great deal about life.

Are you prepared for making the most of your life with this one-of-a-kind life changing experience? Whichever your answer, I let Steppenwolf be your inspiration: “Get your motor runnin’, head out on the highway… Lookin’ for adventure, and whatever comes our way…”.
